- 1/2 cup cold water
- 1 cup fresh corn kernels (or defrosted frozen kernels)
- 1/4 cup diced roasted red pepper
- Olive oil for frying

- 1/4 cup chopped bacon
- 1/2 cup chopped onions
- 1 cup pureed canned tomatoes
- 1/4 cup chopped pitted black olives
- 1 tablespoon chopped parsley
