- 2 teaspoons strainedpassion fruit or 2 teaspoons strained passion fruit nectar
- 1/2 cup sherry wine
- 2 teaspoons rice vinegar
- 2 teaspoons honey
- 1 star anise
- 1 (2 inch) pieces ginger
