- 2 tablespoons bamboo, shoots, julienned
- 4 cups vegetable oil
- 1 bunch fresh cilantro, leaves, only
- 1/2 bunch fresh mint, leaves
- 2 lettuce, Boston, head, washed and separated
Dipping Sauce
- 1/4 cup fish sauce
- 1/4 cup lime juice
- 3 tablespoons water
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 2 garlic, cloves, minced
- 1 scallion, minced
