1-1/4 cups pomegranate juice
1/2 cup cherry preserves
2 Tbs. Dijon mustard

1/4 cup packed light brown sugar


1/4 cup kirschwasser or other cherry liqueur
1/4 cup sweetened dried tart cherries
1 Tbs. cornstarch mixed with 3 Tbs. water
