For the Pear

For the Cake
- 1/3 cup Milk
- 3/4 cup All-Purpose Flour
- 1/2 cup Almonds finely grounded and toasted
- 1/2 teaspoon Baking Soda
- 1/2 teaspoon Baking Powder
- 1/2 teaspoon Fine Salt
- 1/2 teaspoon Ground Cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon Ground cloves
- 4 tablespoons Unsalted Butter softened
- 3/4 cup Granulated Sugar
- 1/4 cup Unsweetened Cocoa Powder (not Dutch process) plus additional for dusting
- 1 teaspoon Pure Vanilla Extract
- 2 large Eggs at room temperature
- 1/4 cup Confectioners' Sugar
- 2 cups Heavy Cream
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
- 1/2 teaspoonGround Ginger
- 1/2 teaspoon Ground Cinnamon
