Ingredients
- Equipment:
- Heavy lg skillet or griddle (do not use non-stick skillet/griddle)
- Tongs or metal spatula
- For Tacos:
- Vegetable oil
- 1 lb. 80% Hamburger, divided into eight (8) portions
- 1 sm. pkg. Soft corn tortillas
- Toppings:
- 1 lg. Red onion, halved & sliced thinly
- 2 Tomatoes, halved & sliced thinly
- 1 head Lettuce, thinly shredded
- 2 cups grated Cheddar cheese
- Favorite taco/hot sauce
- Optional toppings:
- Sour Cream
- Sliced Avocado
- Diced Jalapeno Peppers
Description
Ground Beef Is Patted Onto One Half Of Each Corn Tortilla. As It Is Cooked In Oil, The Other Side Of The Tortilla Is Lifted Over, Forming The Taco Shape. Assorted Toppers Are Added To Fill The Taco.
