    2 TBS tomato paste
    1.5 TBS sugar
    4 tsp worcestershire sauce
    2 TBS steak sauce
    1 TBS parsley
    1 TBS marjoram
    1 TBS thyme
    3 bay leaves
    4 medium potatoes
    1 c. carrots
    1 medium onion
    1 c. mushrooms
    2-3 TBS butter
    salt and pepper to taste
