3/4 cup dry wheat berries - soaked
1/3 cup cider vinegar (to taste)
1 tsp salt
fresh black pepper - to taste
1/4 cup minced fresh dill or 2 tsp dried
1/3 cup mayonnaise
3 small cloves garlic - minced
1/2 cup finely minced parsley
1 cup cottage cheese - I use 1%
3 scallions - finely minced
1 medium carrot - minced
1 small cucumber - peeled, seeded & minced
a little bit of minced bell pepper
2 slices from a medium red onion - minced
2 med stalks of celery - chopped
1/2 cup alfalfa sprouts
