Ingredients
- 1 lb. Ground Turkey
3 whole bell peppers, any color, chopped
1 small to medium yellow onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 can black beans, rinsed
1 can kidney beans, rinsed
1 15 oz. can petite diced tomatoes
1 15 oz. can tomato sauce
1 cup water
Sea Salt
Black Pepper
Chili Powder
Garlic Powder
Dried Basil
Optional: Cumin
All seasonings are to taste.
(This recipe is also great with acorn squash: bake & chop the squash, then add to the chili as above w/ some nutmeg and cinnamon to taste.)
