Double Fudge Almond Brownies - Truly Whole Wheat

Ingredients

    2 Large Eggs
    1 stick Unsalted Butter
    1 1/3 cup Molasses
    2 tbsp Pure Maple Syrup
    1/2 cup Slivered Almonds, dry toasted
    1/2 cup 60% Cacao Chocolate Chips
    1/2 cup plus 2 tbsp Unsweetened Cocoa Powder
    1/2 cup plus 2 tbsp Whole Wheat Flour
    1/4 tsp Amaretto Liquor
    1/2 tsp Baking Soda
    Pulp from 1/2 Vanilla Bean OR alternately 1/2 tsp Pure Vanilla Extract (Vanilla Bean is a wonderful flavor that cannot be topped even by its extracts, but it is expensive and can be hard to find, so 1/2 tsp Vanilla extract would be the closest alternative)
    Pinch of Ground Ginger
