- 4 slices applewood smoked bacon, cut crosswise into 1-inch pieces
3 1/2 cups onions, chopped
2 garlic cloves, minced
4 cans (14.5-15.5 oz) cannellini beans, rinsed and drained
1 1/2 cups root beer (made with cane sugar)
3 tbsp cider vinegar
3 tbsp light molasses
2 tbsp tomato paste
2 tbsp dijon mustard
1 1/2 tsp chili powder
1 tsp kosher salt
1 tsp ground black pepper
