Laurie's Pasta With Shrimp And Sausage

Ingredients

    3 Evergood Louisiana Hot Sausage Links, quartered and sliced
    1/4 cup sundried tomatoes in oil (drained and minced)
    2 cloves garlic, minced
    1 13 1/2 oz. package penne or gemelli pasta
    1 25 oz. jar pasta sauce
    1/2 lb. fresh or frozen shrimp (thawed, shelled and deveined)
    1 cup loosely packed basil leaves, chopped
    1 cup chopped fresh tomatoes (may use halved grape or cherry tomatoes if you prefer)
    1/2 to 1 cup clam juice (optional)
    Juice of 1 lemon
    1 tsp. lemon zest

    *** optional: May add red pepper flakes, black or green olives, calamata olives, capers for variation.
