Banana Nut Granola

Ingredients

    2.5 cups of rolled oats (old fashion oatmeal)
    2 cups of rolled Kamut Flakes
    1 Cup of Wheat Flakes
    1 tbsp of chia seeds (optional)
    1 tbsp of ground flax (optional)
    1/4 cup sliced walnuts
    1/4 cup cut up cashews
    1/4 cup sunflower seeds
    1/2 Tbsp of cinnamon ( personally like allot of cinnamon)

    Wet Ingredients:
    1 tbsp Honey
    1 ripe banana
    1/4 cup of Applesauce(unsweetened)
    2 tbsp peanut butter
    1/4 tsp of almond extract

    Add in after first 15 minutes
    1/3 shredded dried coconut

    Add Ins:
    1/4 cup Raisins

    This is not a sweet granola, I didn't want to add any additional sugar. In your wet ingredients you can add 1 tbsp. of Maple Syrup, or 1/4 cup of brown sugar if you want it sweeter.

    Note: You can can use any kind of oats you like. It can all be old fashion oats. Also Banana Chips would be good too, but I didn't have any!!
