    .5 heaping teaspoon Xanthan gum
    .38 teaspoon salt
    .5 tablespoon sugar plus 1 teaspoon sugar
    .25 cup shortening
    .13 cup butter
    .5 egg, lightly beaten
    .5 tablespoon vinegar
    2 to 3 tablespoons ice water
    Sweet rice flour for dusting, if available. . .otherwise use white rice flour
