Protein Packed Pancake

Ingredients

    1/2 cup of 1% Cottage Cheese
    1 Large Whole Egg
    4 Egg Whites
    1 tsp Vanilla Extract
    1 tsp Cinnamon
    1/2 cup of Rolled Oats
    1/2 cup of Spelt Flour

    I like to use a pat of butter on my griddle beforehand to keep the pancake crispy on the outsides. This adds a little bit of fat of course. For a topping I like Organic Maple Syrup (2tbsp). The butter and maple syrup add 140 calories, 27g carbs, and 4 g of Fat.

Description

This Is A High Protein Pancake Thanks To The Eggs And Cottage Cheese (however Slightly High In Sodium). It's Lower In Carbs Than Your Average Pancake, And It Uses Spelt Flour Instead Of Wheat, So It's Easier For Most People To Digest.
