Garden Salad

Ingredients

    6 large leaves of romaine lettuce
    1 large tomato
    1 sprig fresh basil
    handful of freshly grated Gruyere cheese (or Parmesan, or Asiago, Jarlsberg, Cheddar, etc.)
    Dressing:
    squeeze the juice from one lemon, measure (I got 2 tablespoons) and put in a small glass jar
    add 3 times as much virgin olive oil, in this case 6 tablespoons
    1/4 teaspoon dry mustard
    1/4 teaspoon salt
