Ingredients

15 oz can sliced peaches with juice
2 1/2 cups white sugar
15 oz can pineapple chunks with juice
1/2 cup white sugar
10 oz jar maraschino cherries
12 oz can fruit cocktail
2 1/2 cups white sugar
[I was startled at the amount of sugar in the Thirty Day Friendship Cake, so I cut back to 1/4 cup each addition. If your mixture isn't fermenting (no bubbles), add more sugar.]

BATTER
18.25 oz pkg yellow cake mix
3.4 oz pkg instant pudding
2/3 cups vegetable oil
4 eggs
OR your favorite tender, light sheet cake recipe: I have used Crazy Cake, Mayonnaise Cake and Daffodil Cake successfully.

Optional:
1 cup golden raisins
1 cup chopped walnuts [sliced almonds are great with a chocolate cake]
1 cup flaked coconut
