Armenian Shish Kebab Recipe


  • 2 c. plain yogurt
  • 1/4 c. red wine vinegar
  • 3 lrg yellow onions, cut in large chunks
  • 2 x garlic cloves, crushed in a garlic press
  •     Salt and freshly grnd black pepper, to taste
  • 2 1/2 x to 3 pounds boneless lamb, cut into 2 inch cubes
  • 3 x tomatoes, cut into chunks
  • 1 x eggplant, cut into chunks
  • 3 x bell peppers, cut into chunks
  • 10 x to 15 mushrooms
  • 10 x garlic cloves, peeled
