Ingredients
- 2Â 1/2 c. Flour
- 1/2 tsp Plus a healthy pinch of salt
- 10 Tbsp. Cool margarine
- 1/4 c. Vegetable shortening
- 3 Tbsp. Water, (up to 4)
- 3 lb Apples, ( about 9 apples)
- Â Â I use Macintosh, but any baking apple will do.
- 2 Tbsp. Lemon juice
- 1 Tbsp. Cornstarch
- 2/3 c. Brown sugar
- 1/3 c. Granulated sugar
- 1Â 3/4 tsp Cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp Nutmeg
- 1/3 c. Minced pecans
