Asian Cabbage Slaw Recipe


  • 3 Tbsp. canola oil
  • 2 Tbsp. rice vinegar
  • 1 Tbsp. mirin or possibly sherry
  • 2 tsp toasted sesame oil
  • 1/2 tsp tamari soy sauce
  •     or possibly salt
  • 1/2 tsp dry mustard
  •     or possibly healthy pinch warm Chinese mustard
  • 1/2 tsp water
  • 6 x inner stalks Bok Choy thinly sliced
  • 2 c. shredded Chinese cabbage, Napa
  • 1 c. finely shredded red cabbage
  • 1 med carrot julienne or possibly grated
  • 3 x scallions with tender greens thinly sliced
  • 1/4 c. chopped cilantro
  •     or possibly flatleaf parsley 1 tbsp toasted sesame seeds for garnish brown and black
