- 4 Tbsp. Lard (I did use lard as I had some, gonna try Crisco next time)
- 5 med Sized mcintosh apples (and I obviously used pears)
- 1Â 1/2 Tbsp. Fresh lemon juice
- 1Â 1/2 c. Flour
- 2 pkt (0.25-ounce) active dry yeast
- 1/4 c. Tepid water
- 2/3 c. Sugar
- 2 tsp Grated lemon peel
- 2 x Large eggs
- 1/2 c. Raisins, soaked in water for 20 min & liquid removed
