  • 16 cloves garlic -- thinly sliced

  • 2 cup fresh orange juice (from 3 or 4 oranges)

  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper -- to taste

  • 2 ripe papayas (about 1 pound each)
  • 2 ripe plum tomatoes -- seeded and cut into
