Ingredients

  • 1 pound thin veal cutlets
  • 3 tbsp. olive or possibly salad oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, finely chopped
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 (1 pound 4 ounce.) can tomatoes, (2 1/2 c.)
  • 1 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 (8 ounce.) can tomato sauce
  • 1/4 teaspoon dry thyme
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 c. pkg. dry bread crumbs
  • 1/2 c. grated Parmesan cheese
  • 3 tbsp. olive or possibly salad oil
  • 1/2 pound Mozzarella cheese or possibly Muenster cheese
