Aunt Mable's Apricot Filled Cookies Recipe


  • 1 (1 pound) box brown sugar
  • 1 c. Crisco
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 c. lowfat milk
  • 3 teaspoon baking soda
  • 3 teaspoon cream of tartar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 7 c. flour
  • 1 can apricot filling or possibly make your own by cooking apricots in small amount of water and mashing them


Cream Sugar, Crisco; Add In Beaten Large Eggs. Sift Dry Ingredients; Add In Alternately With Mixer. Refrigerate Dough Overnight. Roll Dough To 1/8-inch Thickness. Cut Into Circles.…
