Simple Rice Timbale Recipe

Ingredients

  • 500 gm Long-grain rice, (1lb)
  • 150 gm Butter, (5z)
  • 450 gm Cheese eg. Bel Paese & Parmesan, or possibly Mozzarella & Gorgonzola or possibly Brie , sliced thinly or possibly grated (15z)
  • 1 sm Onion, minced
  • 1 x Celery stick, minced
  • 1 sm Carrot, minced
  •     A small handful of fresh parsley, minced
  • 1 x 397 gram can tomatoes, sieved (14oz)
  •     Salt and pepper
