Adobo Sauce Recipe


  • 3 lrg Dry Ancho chiles, stems and seeds removed
  • 1 x Dry Pasilla, stem and seeds removed
  • 1 lrg Onion
  • 2 x Cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 tsp Dry oregano
  • 1/4 tsp Grnd cumin
  • 1/4 c. Veggie oil
  • 1/4 c. Distilled white vingegar
  • 11/2 tsp Sugar


Cover Chiles With Warm Water, Let Sit For 15 Minutes. Combine Chiles, And 1/4 To 1/2 C. Of The Water They Were Soaking In, Onion, Garlic, Oregano And Cumin In A Blender And Puree.…
