- 1/4 c. Sake or possibly dry sherry
- 1 Tbsp. Fresh grated ginger
- 1 Tbsp. Sesame oil
- 1 tsp Warm chili oil
- 2 Tbsp. Fresh lemon juice or possibly rice vinegar
- 1 x Eggplant (about 1/2 lb)
- 16 x Fresh snow peas, stemmed
- 1/2 lb Fresh small mushrooms, like shitake or possibly oysters, cut in half
- 1 sm Sweet potato, peeled and cut into 1/4" slices
- 1 x Bell pepper, green or possibly red, stemmed, seeded and cut into 8 slices
- Â Â Peanut oil for frying
- 1 x Egg yolk
- 2 c. Ice-cool water
- 1/8 tsp Baking soda
- 1Â 2/3 c. All-purpose flour
