Cupcakes:

• 2 C. granulated white sugar
• 1 3/4 C. all-purpose flour
• 3/4 C. cocoa powder (the higher the quality, the better the taste)
• 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
• 1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
• 1/2 tsp. salt
• 2 large eggs
• 1 C. mashed ripe bananas (2-3 medium sized bananas)
• 1/2 C. milk
• 1 C. warm water
• 1/2 C. canola oil
• 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract

 

 

 

Chocolate Ganache Frosting:

• 8 ounces semi-sweet chocolate squares, cut into small pieces (or  1 ½ C. semi-sweet chocolate chips)
• 3/4 C. heavy whipping cream
• 1 Tbsp. unsalted butter
