  • ½ tsp mustard seeds

  • ½ tsp cumin seeds

  • 1 small onion, chopped

  • 2 medium tomatoes, chopped

  • 1 tsp tomato purée

  • 1 tsp ground cumin

  • 1 tsp ground coriander

  • 1 tbsp chopped fresh coriander

  • ½ tsp red chilli powder

  • ½ tsp ground turmeric

  • 300g/10½oz firm tofu, chopped into 2cm/¾in cubes

  • 100ml/3½fl oz water

  • 450g/1lb frozen peas

  • rice or chapattis, to serve

Description

This Is A Cheat’s Version Of Mutter Paneer Using Shop-bought Tofu Rather Than Traditional Home-made Cheese Cubes (paneer).
