1-1/2 cups (375 mL) all-purpose flour 1/2 cup (125 mL) oat bran or natural wheat 1 tsp (5 mL) baking powder 1 tsp (5 mL) baking soda 1/2 tsp (2 mL) salt 1/3 cup (75 mL) packed brown sugar 1 egg, lightly beaten 1 cup (250 mL) buttermilk or plain low-fat yogurt 3 tbsp (50 mL) vegetable oil Topping: 2 cups (500 mL) pitted Ontario Tart Cherries, well drained 3/4 cup (175 mL) packed brown sugar 1/4 cup (50 mL) butter, melted 1/4 cup (50 mL) corn syrup
