  • 1 inch piece ginger, peeled and minced
  • 1/2 tablespoon green onion, chopped
  • Pinch red pepper flakes
  • 1 1/2 pounds of carrots, peeled and thinly sliced
  • 1/2 teaspoon turmeric
  • 1/2 tablespoon honey
  • Salt and pepper
  • 4 cups vegetable or chicken stock
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 2 ounces butter
