- 3 rashers thin streaky bacon
- 1 to 2 litres sunflower oil, for deep frying
- 250 g flour, plus extra for dusting
- 1 tsp baking powder
- tsp ground cinnamon
- tsp salt
- tsp bicarbonate of soda
- 1 large egg
- 115 g granulated sugar
- tsp vanilla extract
- 30 g butter, melted
- 125 g crme frache
- 300 g icing sugar, (use a little less if you want a thinner glaze)
- 60 ml whole milk
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
