  • 2 Tbsp pure maple syrup or pancake syrup
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • 2 slices bacon, cooked crisp, crumbled
  • 3 Tbsp pecans, toasted and chopped
  • Garnish: snipped chives or sliced scallions
