- 1 can (8 oz) tomato sauce
- 11/2 cups (1/2 a 12-oz bag) fully cooked ground seasoned Mexican-style beef (see Note)
- 1 cup preshredded Cheddar cheese
- 1 cup thinly sliced iceberg lettuce
- 1 cup chopped tomatoes
- small avocado, halved, seed and peel removed, diced
- 1/2 cup coarsely crushed tortilla chips
