Southern-style Brussels Sprouts

Ingredients

  • 5   slices thick-cut bacon, cut into 1/2-inch pieces
  • 2   cloves garlic, sliced
  • 3 pounds  fresh Brussels sprouts, peeled, stems removed, and cut in half
  • 1 1/2 cups  water
  • 2 tablespoons  unsalted butter
  • 1 teaspoon  sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon  kosher salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon  ground black pepper
  • 1 cup  chopped pecans

Description

In A Dutch Oven, Cook Bacon Over Medium-high Heat Until Brown. Add Garlic And Cook For 1 Minute. Drain Bacon And Garlic; Set Aside, Discarding Grease.
