Maple Apple Pancake

Ingredients

  • 2 large  eggs (at room temperature if possible)
  • 1 1/4 ounces  (1/4 cup) all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup  heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup  pure maple syrup
  • 1/2 teaspoon  kosher salt
  • 1 1/2 tablespoon  (3/4 ounces) unsalted butter
  • 1/2 large  firm eating apple (I like Gala), cored and thinly sliced
  •   Cinnamon sugar or confectioners' sugar and cinnamon for dusting
