• 6 tablespoons  dark-brown sugar
• 6 tablespoons  water
• 3 tablespoons  dark rum
•   Whipped Cream:
• 2 tablespoons  Simple Syrup (recipe above)
• 1 teaspoon  unflavored gelatin
• 2 cups  heavy cream
• 1 teaspoon  vanilla extract
