- 1/4 cup sliced leeks, white part only
- 3 sprigs fresh parsley
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon finely chopped, peeled parsnip (optional)
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
