Grilled Trout Stuffed With Lemon And Herbs

Ingredients

  • 4 8- to 10-oz.  fresh or frozen dressed rainbow trout or Coho salmon
  • 1 Tbsp.  olive oil
  • 1 tsp.  coarse kosher salt or 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp.  coarsely ground black pepper
  • 2   lemons
  • 2 Tbsp.  snipped fresh oregano, thyme, and/or chives or 2 teaspoons dried oregano or thyme, crushed
  • 2 cloves  garlic, minced
  • 12 sprigs  fresh oregano and/or thyme, and/or chive stems (omit if using dried herbs)
