Peach Crumble

Ingredients

Peach filling:

  • 6 cups peeled, pitted and sliced peaches (in the winter can use 2 pounds frozen thawed peaches)
  • 2 Tbs. fresh lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2/3 cup sugar
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • Pinch of freshly grated nutmeg
  • 2 Tbs. unsalted butter

Crumble topping:

  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • Pinch salt
  • 6 Tbs. unsalted butter, cold and cut into small cubes
  • 3 Tbs. light brown sugar
  • 3 Tbs. sugar
