Ingredients
- 2 pounds ground beef
- 1 medium white onion, chopped
- 1 large zucchini
- 2 stalks celery, chopped
- 2 garlic cloves, chopped
- 1 14-ounce canned crushed tomatoes in puree - make sure it is tomatoes in puree (if not, you will not get the right consistancy & flavor)
- 1 â 2 cans of white or cannellini beans (drain & rinse)
- 1-2 bay leaves
- 2 teaspoons dried basil
- 2 teaspoons dried oregano
- ½ teaspoon fresh thyme
- ¼ teaspoon fresh rosemary
- 5 cups beef stock/broth or water (If you use water, make sure you salt it with beef bullion)
- red chili flakes
- 4 ounces small pasta
- pepper to taste
