Spanish Lasagne Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 pack Lasagne pasta sheets - I use the dried but pre-cooked type, they work the best and are easiest.
  • 400g lean minced beef
  • 1 largish zucchini, unpeeled and finely chopped
  • 2 medium onions finely chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, crushed
  • 1 large tin tomatoes (about 750g)
  • I medium green bell pepper, deseeded and finely chopped
  • button mushrooms, cleaned and roughly chopped (about 1 1/2 cupfuls)
  • tomato ketchup - a couple of squirts
  • 1 veg stock cube
  • 2 tablespoons worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • Your favourite strong (sliceable, not soft) cheese. I use Cheddar
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 dessert spoon scoop of butter or margarine
  • 1 tablespoon flour
  • oil for frying
  • 3 large glasses dry white wine
  • All these ingredients are approximate - you can fiddle about with the quantities to suit your taste.

Once Again I'm Indebted To A Spanish Neighbour For This Recipe. I'd Made Lasagne For Years But This Is The Best I've Ever Tasted.
