Brekky Bikkies Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup white flour
  • 1/2 cup wholemeal flour
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp bi-carb soda
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 Tbsp butter
  • 1/3 cup sugar (i use half brown and half raw)
  • 1 Tbsp golden syrup
  • 70g stewed plums (OR apple sauce or a mashed ripe banana, whatever fruit you have, really)
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1/2 cup rolled oats
  • 1 cup fine oatmeal
  • 1 Tbsp (or more) nuts to suit, i did hazelnuts with the plums, chopped
  • 1/4 cup dried fruit (your choice, raisins dates, sultanas) - optional
  • 1 tsp spice to suit (i used cinnamon for my plum cookies)

Description

These Are Great Healthy Little Cookies. I Like Them For A Quick Breakfast, Crumbled Up In My Bowl With Some Milk And Yoghurt On Top.
