Yucatan Sunfire Sauce Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 head garlic, top sliced off and outer papery skin removed
  • 2 cubanelle peppers
  • 1 red bell pepper
  • 1 small, sweet onion, quartered
  • 6 tomatillos, husks removed
  • 4 large tomatoes, halved
  • 1 habanero pepper
  • 1 clove garlic, peeled
  • juice of 1 lime
  • zest of 1/2 lime
  • 1/2 tsp habanero pepper sauce
  • pinch salt
  • generous pinch oregano
  • 2 tbsp minced fresh parsley
  • 1 tbsp minced fresh mint
