Ingredients

  • 4 pound beef brisket trimmed of excess fat
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 pounds onions halved lengthwise and thinly sliced lengthwise
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 12 ounce bottle beer
  • 1 beef bouillon cube crumbled
  • 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar

This Recipe Came From An Estate Sale. I Obtained It When I Purchased The Family Collection From The Brunson Estate In Midlothian, Texas In 1990.
