Swordfish With Tangy Cilantro Sauce Recipe

Ingredients

  • For Sauce
  • 2T butter
  • 1T olive oil
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2T canned chilis(green or jalapenos, depending on your heat preference)
  • 1/2 cup white wine
  • 3 cups heavy cream
  • about 3 bunches cilantro(3 cups or so)
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • juice from 1/2 lemon or 1 lime
  • 1t whole coriander seeds(can sub ground)
  • 1t whole mustard seeds(can sub ground)
  • 1/2-1t whole peppercorns(can sub fresh ground)
  • sea or kosher salt
  • For Fish
  • 6 4oz swordfish steaks, 3/4-1 inch thick
  • 1T olive oil
  • lemon or lime juice
  • sea or kosher salt and fresh ground pepper
