  7. One 14-ounce can crushed tomatoes
  8. 3 cups dry red wine, such as Syrah
  9. 1 quart chicken stock
  10. 4 whole cloves
  11. 2 cardamom pods
  12. 2 teaspoons coriander seeds
  13. 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
  14. One 1/2-inch cinnamon stick
  15. 1/4 cup thinly sliced mint leaves
