Ingredients

  2. 6garlic cloves, minced
  3. Juice of 2 lemons
  4. 1tablespoon ground cumin
  5. 1tablespoon ground cardamom
  6. 1teaspoon Aleppo pepper or 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper
  7. Freshly ground black pepper
  8. Kosher salt
  9. One 6- to 7-pound butterflied leg of lamb
  10. 2orange bell peppers, cut into 1/4-inch strips
  11. 1yellow bell pepper, cut into 1/4-inch strips
  12. 3medium red onions, thinly sliced
  13. Yogurt-Tahini Sauce and Syrian Pita Bread, for serving
