Ingredients

1/4 lb. ahi block

2 nori sheets

1/2 bunch spinach or mizuna leaves, washed, drained

1/2 c. all purpose flour

1 large egg, beaten

1/2 c. water

1 c. panko flakes

oil for frying

WASABI-BUTTER SAUCE:

1 tsp. fresh ginger, peeled, grated

1 tsp. Thai fried garlic or 1 clove garlic, minced

1 TB wasabi paste

1/4 c. rice wine vinegar

1/4 c. white wine

2 TB heavy cream

2 TB soy sauce

1/2 c. butter, cut into pieces
