Ingredients
For The Rice:1 1/2 cups white rice - rinsed and drain
1 1/2 cups thick coconut milk (I used the ready-made carton box ones)
1 1/2 cups water
1 tbsp turmeric/kunyit powder
Others:
1/2 ginger bud/bunga kantan
1/2 inch ginger
5 shallots
1 serai/lemon grass
5 long beans/kacang panjang
4 limau purut/kaffir lime leaves
** all these ingredients to be sliced thinly or shredded
200g salmon - deep fried and flaked
2 calamansi lime - extract juice
salt to taste
